Irish Cheer Sport Association - Home of Irish Cheerleading!

In order to develop cheerleading in Ireland we have introduced the National Cheer Coaches Register which lists all the qualified cheerleading coaches who have registered with us. Please note that 80% of cheerleading teams in Ireland are registered with the Irish Cheer Sport Association so our register would be most upto date and accurate list of professional and safety certified coaches. All coaches that have registered have provided us with a copy of their certifications, insurance documents and Garda checks/CRB Disclosure.

Please note that we only recommend registered NCCR coaches and we would like to inform visitors looking for cheerleading coaches to be very careful as there are lots of coaches unqualified and have never been subject to Garda vetting before. Please use this resource to assist you in developing your program.

QUALIFICATION LEVEL GUIDE

Level 1. No formal qualifications in cheer, Garda vetted and a volunteer/committee member at a cheer program
Level 2. Level 1/2 in NCSSE or USASF or UKCA. - Garda Vetted - Volunteer/Captain/Leader
Level 3. Holders of only NCSSE or USASF or UKCA Level 3 - Garda Vetted - Additional qualifications also i.e : Gym/Acro - Coach/Assistant
Level 4 - NCSSE Masters - USASF Level 4/5 - UKCA Level 4+ -Garda Vetted - Additional qualifications - Garda vetted.
